The tools differ wildly in how they get there, and those differences decide whether your keywords, links and product names survive the trip. Rewrite loop vs synonym spinner: the split that matters

Most ai humanizer tool pages run a single pass. Text goes in, a model (or a thesaurus script) swaps words, shuffles a few clauses, and hands the result back. Nobody checks whether the output still reads machine-made. You do that yourself, on a separate detector, and then paste it back in for another go. Three or four rounds later the draft is either fine or mangled, and you have no idea which sentences were the problem.

A rewrite loop folds that checking step into the tool. Humanizeo rewrites, scores the result with its own detector, then rewrites only the passages that still flag, repeating until the text scores clearly human on that detector. The first-pass output is not what you get; the settled output is. Two practical consequences follow. Fewer manual rounds. And the rewriting stays targeted, so paragraphs that already read fine are left alone instead of being churned for the sake of it.

Synonym spinners have a second problem that only shows up later: they treat every token as fair game. Brand names get "improved". A statistic becomes "roughly a third". The anchor text you spent a week negotiating with a publisher turns into something else. Some of the suite tools below do better than pure spinners here, but very few enforce preservation as a hard rule.

What a detector must show you to be useful

A single percentage is close to worthless for an editor. "62% likely AI" tells you nothing about which of the eleven paragraphs to touch. A detector earns its place in a workflow when it does three things: highlights the specific passages it suspects, explains why (uniform sentence lengths, repeated openers, stock vocabulary, that kind of signal), and gives you a before-and-after score once you have edited. Without per-passage reasons you are guessing, and guessing on a 2,000-word piece is slow.

Scores are also probabilistic. Every detector, ours included, will disagree with every other detector on some texts. Treat a score as a pointer to weak passages, not as a verdict any other tool is bound to repeat.

Two things jump out. Almost nobody enforces keyword and link preservation; the suites make reasonable efforts, the spinners make none. How to choose in five minutes

Take one real draft, ideally 800 to 1,500 words with a brand name, a number and a link in it. Run it through two candidates. Then check three things: did the number and the link survive untouched, can you tell which sentences still read machine-made, and how many rounds did it take before you would ship it. That test settles most decisions faster than any feature list, including ours.
