For marketers and publishers

Paraphrasing tool that changes the structure, not just the words

Rework source material into copy that is genuinely yours: new sentence shapes, new order, same facts, and a detector score to prove it does not read like a thesaurus pass.

  • Structural paraphrase, not synonym replacement
  • Must-keep terms stay exactly as typed
  • Before/after score on every run

What a paraphrasing tool is for, and why most of them miss

A paraphrasing tool restates a passage in different words while keeping its meaning. The useful version of that, the one a content team can actually publish, changes the architecture of the text: sentence boundaries, clause order, what gets emphasised, where the paragraph breaks. Humanizeo paraphrases at that level, locks the terms you tell it not to touch, and scores the output so you can see whether it reads like a person or like a word-swap.

The cheap version is a thesaurus with a button. "The company announced strong quarterly results" becomes "The firm declared robust quarterly outcomes". Every word is new and the sentence is identical. Anyone who has read the original spots it in a second, and so does a detector, because the rhythm fingerprint has not moved.

Who this is built for

Marketers reworking a partner's press release into a blog post. Publishers turning a 3,000-word research report into a 600-word explainer. Agencies adapting one approved piece of source copy across five client sites without five identical pages. Newsletter writers summarising a long interview. In every case the source is legitimately yours to use and the job is to make it read differently, not to hide where it came from.

It is not for academic use. Essays, theses, coursework and anything submitted for a grade are prohibited under our acceptable-use terms. We would rather say that on the page than in an email after sign-up.

Structure first: what the tool actually rearranges

Sentence boundaries

Two short sentences become one with a subordinate clause, or one long sentence gets split at the comma where a reader would naturally pause. This alone changes the length distribution, which is the first thing detectors and editors notice.

Clause order

"Because X, Y" becomes "Y, and the reason is X." The emphasis shifts. The information does not.

Voice and person

Passive to active where the actor is known. Third person to second person if the tone preset calls for it. "Customers can be notified" becomes "You get a notification".

Paragraph shape

A source that puts the conclusion last can be paraphrased with the conclusion first. Lists can become prose and prose can become a list, as long as the items survive.

Vocabulary, last

Word choice does change, but as a consequence of the restructuring, not as the main event. Stock phrases are dropped rather than replaced with different stock phrases.

Must-keep terms

Some words cannot move. Product names, regulated phrasing, a client's preferred spelling of their own brand, the exact keyword an SEO brief specified. Add them to the must-keep list before running and the paraphraser treats each one as an unbreakable token. Numbers, proper nouns and links are protected automatically, and if a pass alters any of them it is rejected and rerun. Same protection our AI rewriter uses; here it just matters more because you are working from someone else's text and the facts are not yours to bend.

How it works

  1. Paste the source, up to 30,000 characters, in any language you write in.
  2. Add must-keep terms. Choose a tone: professional, conversational, journalistic or technical.
  3. Run. You get a structurally different version plus a detector score.
  4. Not different enough, or still reading templated? Run the loop again on the flagged passages only.
  5. Read the diff, check the locked terms, copy out.

Synonym swap versus structural paraphrase, side by side

Source, from a vendor announcement:

Acme Logistics today announced the opening of its new 120,000-square-foot distribution center in Reno, Nevada. The facility will create approximately 200 jobs and is expected to reduce delivery times to West Coast customers by up to 40%.

Synonym-swap paraphraser:

Acme Logistics today revealed the launch of its new 120,000-square-foot distribution hub in Reno, Nevada. The facility will generate roughly 200 positions and is anticipated to cut delivery durations to West Coast clients by up to 40%.

Structural paraphrase, journalistic preset, must-keep "Acme Logistics", "Reno, Nevada":

West Coast customers of Acme Logistics should see deliveries arrive up to 40% faster once the company opens its new site in Reno, Nevada. The distribution center runs to 120,000 square feet and brings around 200 jobs to the area.

Same four facts in both. The second version opens with the reader-relevant consequence, splits the numbers across two sentences of different lengths, and drops the press-release verb entirely. An editor would not send it back. The first version would get sent back with a note.

Paraphrasing tool plans: what every plan includes

A monthly paraphrase and detect word allowance that resets on the 1st, an account, and up to 30,000 characters per run. Identical engine on every plan; higher plans raise the caps and add team seats. The pricing page lists the numbers. Your text sits in your own history for 30 days and is then deleted; scores stay; nothing is used to train anything.

When to paraphrase and when to humanize

Paraphrasing starts from someone else's text and makes it yours. Humanizing starts from a draft that is already yours (often machine-assisted) and makes it read like a person. The tools overlap, and both run on the same AI humanizer loop, but the intent is different and so is the setting: paraphrase leans harder on restructuring, humanize leans harder on rhythm and phrasing while holding structure closer to the original. If you are not sure which you need, run the source through the AI detector first. A high score with your own draft means humanize; a source you need to rework regardless of score means paraphrase.

Good to know

How is this paraphrasing tool different from a synonym replacer?

A synonym replacer keeps every sentence exactly where it was and swaps individual words, so the output reads like the original wearing a wig. This tool changes sentence boundaries, clause order, voice and paragraph shape first, and lets vocabulary change as a consequence. You get a detector score with each run, so you can see whether the result reads like a person rather than taking our word for it.

Can I stop it from changing certain words or phrases?

Yes. Add product names, brand spellings, target keywords or regulated wording to the must-keep list and each one is treated as a fixed token that appears in the output exactly as typed. Numbers, proper nouns and links are protected automatically. If any pass alters a protected item the output is rejected and the pass reruns.

How is the paraphrasing tool priced?

Humanizeo is a paid product. Every plan includes a monthly paraphrase word allowance and a monthly detect word allowance, both resetting on the 1st, with the numbers listed on the pricing page. A single run accepts up to 30,000 characters. All plans use the same engine, tone presets and term protection; higher plans raise the monthly caps and add team seats.

Can I use it for essays or school assignments?

No. Academic work of any kind, including essays, theses, coursework and anything submitted for assessment, is prohibited under our acceptable-use terms. The tool is built for marketers, publishers and content teams reworking source material they have the right to use, such as press releases, reports, interviews and approved partner copy.

Does it work for languages other than English?

It paraphrases in the language of the input, so Spanish, German, French and Turkish sources are restructured in their own language rather than translated through English. Tone presets and must-keep terms behave the same way. The detector score shown after each run is calculated in the source language as well.
